Meeting with the amazing farm dairy in Vuollerim

We met Agnes Otterbech from Mathantverket in Vuollerim in the frosty wednesday morning the 20th of december and we were greeted with coffey and the traditional coffey cheese. She showed us some informative videos about their production and told us about the mountain cows in the village where they get the milk for their cheese.

We were blown away by the amount of awards this small farm diary already got! One of their cheeses got a bronze in the world cheese award! Competing against some 3500 other cheeses makes this a truly amazing accomplishment!

We all agreed on that a future cooperation would help us both and we are happy to let everyone know that we will have lots of cheese on our events in the sami dance centre starting next year.
